Add-Ons

Add-On packs are available for you to supplement your pay monthly plan, should you use up your monthly mobile data allowance or minutes (on Capped Data plans), or if you require hotspotting (a Hotspotting Add-On is required to hotspot on the 40GB Endless Mobile plan). We recommend purchasing Add-Ons when needed as they provide you with great value for money. Check out the packs available below. It’s easy to add or remove a pack with the Mercury app. You can download the our app from the app store. From there, simply head to the Mobile section within the app to manage your mobile plan.

Data Auto Allowance On Capped Data plans, a Data Auto Allowance of 100MB (cost $5) is automatically applied by us when you reach your data limit, or have used up any rollover data or Add-On data packs that you have purchased. It is only applied once per 30 days if needed. You should have been automatically opted into this feature when you took up your mobile plan with us. You can opt in or out of Data Auto Allowance at any time via the Mercury app. You can download our app from the app store. From there, simply head to the Mobile section within the app to manage your mobile plan. Please note Data Auto Allowance excludes roaming and is available for use in New Zealand only.
Data Boost If you are on an Endless Mobile plan and you run out of your max speed data, you can purchase a 1GB Data Boost for $10. Your Data Boost will become active immediately once purchased and is valid for 7 days, even if you still have plan data available. If applicable, the Data Boost will carry over to the following month and will be used before the next month's max speed plan data (until the Data Boost data is fully used or it expires). Data Boosts are available to purchase through the Mercury app.

Mobile Plans Our Mobile Plans are pay monthly plans and include an allowance of data, minutes and texts. On our Endless Mobile plans, speeds will reduce after you have used the maximum amount of speed data that your plan allows for each month. Plan data is for use in NZ only. Plan minutes and texts are for New Zealand and Australia. Our mobile plans are renewed on the 26th of each month.
Capped Data Plans Our Capped Data plans allow data to rollover for 12 months and have capped minutes – these capped minutes do not rollover if unused. All our plans have unlimited texts. If you run out of monthly and rollover data, a Data Auto Allowance of 100MB (cost $5) will automatically be added to your plan, you can opt out of this via the Mercury app. Once the plans monthly data allowance/ Data Auto Allowance has been reached, your data service will be unavailable until the plan renews (or an additional data pack is purchased).
