Of course, if you prefer, you can talk to us. Our Customer Service Representatives have the knowledge to answer your questions and take ownership of resolving any issues. They’re supported by a large team of specialists throughout Trustpower.
We have one call centre in the North Island and another in the South Island. That means we’re in touch with the needs of New Zealanders. You won’t be given the run around. It’s also good to know that at crucial times, such as an extreme weather event, our people will appreciate the importance of getting things right.
Know what’s happening with network faults
Trustpower’s Faults Update Service is available any time there is a power cut. If the power goes off at your place, call us on 0800 87 87 87 to register for Faults Updates. We’ll phone or text you with any situation updates until the power is back on. You can choose whether you’d prefer a text or phone call.
When there is an outage, an alert will be displayed on our faults and support page. You can view our website easily on your mobile, so check here for any updates.
At all times, if we are alerted by the network company that your power is due to be turned off for network maintenance, we will advise you in writing, with as much notice as possible.
Stay updated with TXT account balance
At any time, you can check the current balance of your account. Simply TXT your account number to 3167. You’ll receive your current balance, plus your last payment date and amount.
