From 2019, eligible Trustpower customers in Tauranga City and the Western Bay of Plenty will have a number of different ways to access and manage their TECT rebate.

How the TECT rebate is distributed

In the past, the rebate has been paid via cheque, but a change for 2019 means that our eligible customers can now choose one of the following options for each TECT rebate:

  • Direct payment into a nominated bank account
  • A credit to your Trustpower account
  • A charitable gift to the Acorn Foundation Vital Impact Fund

How to access and manage your TECT Rebate

Managing your TECT rebate is easy. If you’ve already signed up for a MyTrustpower account you’re good to go. SImply log in and choose your preferred rebate method.

If you’re not a MyTruspower user you’ll need to register, but don’t worry it’s quick and easy. With a MyTrustpower account you can not only manage your TECT rebate but also monitor your usage, view your upcoming bills and set payment options.
