TrustPower believes the combination of competitive pricing, ease of doing business, a strong history of community support and involvement.
TrustPower, which has one of its two call-centres in Oamaru, employing 50 local people, is almost 100% New Zealand owned and has a history of community support and involvement.
It’s Community Awards provide annual recognition and reward for charities, sports clubs and organisations that benefit the community, and as part of his national programme, TrustPower supported and NZ award winning magician Elgregoe, makes regular appearances at Waitaki District schools presenting his anti-bullying and values based messages.
TrustPower, which recently ranked top for Customer Service, Customer Loyalty and Community Involvement in an Electricity Authority Survey, is mailing customers and providing an opportunity for people to drop in to meet its team at its office at 34 Thames Street Oamaru.
General Manager Retail, Chris O’Hara, says TrustPower believes the combination of competitive pricing, ease of doing business, a strong history of community support and involvement, and its local status with 50 Oamaru based employees will prove attractive to most people.
“I think our involvement in this year’s Christmas Parade shows how committed our company, and our local team are, to Oamaru and the wider Waitaki District, just as our focus on clean, green small to medium hydro and wind generation shows our care for the environment. We are looking forward to growing our business in the region in the months and years ahead,” says Mr O'Hara.
