Vince Hawksworth
Chief Executive
Born in the UK, Vince studied Mining Engineering at Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham and joined British Coal working in underground coal mines. In 1993 Vince and his family moved to New Zealand. In 1995, Vince joined the Electricity Corporation of New Zealand (ECNZ) as Production Manager at Huntly Power Station before becoming General Manager Generation when Genesis Energy was formed in 1999. In 2002 he became General Manager Retail of Genesis Energy and four years later Vince became CEO of Hydro Tasmania.

Robert Farron
Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary
Orignally from Palmerston North, Robert graduated from Massey University with a BBS majoring in Accounting & Finance. He is a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants, a certified member of the Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand Inc and a member of the Institute of Directors. Robert joined TrustPower in 2004. His career has included roles in professional services, corporate banking and energy development.

Chris O'Hara
General Manager Commercial Operations
Chris joined TrustPower in 1999, just prior to the launch of mass-market competition. Previous roles at TrustPower have included Commercial Sales Manager, National Sales Manager and Energy Division Sales Manager. Born in Auckland, Chris has lived in many parts of New Zealand as well as spending five years in the USA. Chris was educated in Upper Hutt, and later gained a degree in Agricultural Science from Massey University. His career has included a number of roles in forestry and farm management, consulting in animal nutrition, sales and marketing and general management in the corporate sector, and ownership and management of a manufacturing company.

Deion Campbell
General Manager Generation
Born in Christchurch, Deion has a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Canterbury University and is a chartered professional engineer. He is currently a member of the Institute of Professional Engineers of NZ and a member of the Institute of Directors. As part of his training, Deion spent nine months in England, Europe and Canada with ECNZ before becoming an excitation and generations windings specialist. Deion’s first job was on the Waikato River hydro schemes before working in insurance and then at an electrical networks control system company in Sydney, Australia. Deion joined TrustPower in 2001 as the North Island Asset Manager before leading the construction of recent hydro and wind generation projects. Deion became General Manager Generation in May 2011.

Craig Neustroski
General Manager Trading
Craig joined TrustPower in 1998 from previous roles at Southpower and Environment Canterbury NZ, just as TrustPower began to expand from its traditional Bay of Plenty base. Craig’s other roles at TrustPower have included Commercial Sales Manager and National Sales Manager. As Trading Manager Craig oversees key areas of energy purchasing, hedge management and reconciliation. During his time with TrustPower, Craig has developed a strong working understanding of price volatility drivers, and of constraints issues on the periphery of the grid, where TrustPower has a significant customer base. Born in the Waikato, Craig has a Degree in Electrical Engineering from Canterbury and a Diploma in Business.

Peter Calderwood
General Manager Strategy and Growth
Peter is a registered engineer (Auckland University, First Class Honours) with a Master of Engineering. Born in Auckland and educated at Auckland Grammar School, he is a member of the Institute of Professional Engineers of New Zealand. Peter joined the Tauranga Electric Power Board in 1987 and became its Operations Manager the following year. In 1991 Peter accepted the role as Network Manager for TEPB, which later became TrustPower. He was TrustPower's Network Manager prior to taking on his present role.

Karen Boyte
General Manager Human Resources
Born in Pahiatua, Karen has a Master of Business Studies (Hons) in Human Resource Management , a Bachelor in Business Studies (HR), both from Massey University, a Diploma in Management (NZIM), and a New Zealand Diploma in Business Studies. Her career includes HR, Training and Development, Employment Relations, Performance Improvement and Organisational Development roles in the forestry and timber processing industries and tertiary sector. Karen has also lectured in Human Resources Management, Organisation Development and Marketing. She is a professional member of the Human Resource Institute of New Zealand (MHRINZ). Karen joined TrustPower in 2003 .

Simon Clarke
General Manager Business Solutions & Technology
Simon returned to his home town of Tauranga and joined TrustPower in September 2011. He has held a number of senior executive roles in the energy sector and was previously CEO of Christchurch based smart metering service provider, Arc Innovations. Simon has degrees in law and politics from the University of Otago and is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Programme at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the NZ Institute of Directors and in 2010, Simon was named the inaugural winner of the Deloitte Energy Excellence Awards Young Energy Executive of the Year. Simon has a particular interest in renewable energy and emerging customer facing technologies. Simon was appointed into his current role of GM Business Solutions & Technology in June 2012. His team is responsible for technology strategy and operations, business solutions, project delivery (PMO) and metering and field services.
