2010 on...Where To Next?

Over the next 12 to 18 months work on the project will focus on refining the project to ensure that an optimal design solution is achieved. Key aspects of this will include;

• Progressing land access agreements with landowners on which the project lies.

• Continuing with baseline and pre-construction environmental monitoring. This is required within the conditions of consent and will provide a pre-scheme baseline of information against which scheme performance can be measured.

• Initiating the next stage of scheme design and optimisation. Key to this will be adjusting scheme configurations within the finalised resource consent constraints to produce the optimal scheme solution for generation and irrigation.
