Online Banking
Set up TrustPower as a new payee in the bill payment section of your online banking through your bank's website.  Please select TrustPower from the Pre-loaded payees on your bank's Bill Payment internet site and complete the fields as prompted.

If you have several accounts with TrustPower - to ensure any payments made are credited to the correct accounts, please set up each Energy Number individually. Your Energy Number is printed in orange on the left side of your power bill. 
         
Your Online Banking will work with any bank that has bill pay. If your bank is not here please go directly to their site.   

Direct Debit from your Bank Account
Direct Debit is a no fuss, no worries way to pay. The exact amount of your power bill will come out of your bank account every month, guaranteeing your Prompt Payment Discount*.

Direct Debit from your Credit Card
With credit card direct debit you don't need to remember to pay your bill. The amount owing is simply deducted on the due date, directly from your credit card. It's simple and a great way to make sure you get your Prompt Payment Discount every time!  (Note: Payments by credit card attract a 13.5% Prompt Payment Discount*).

Telebanking
Pay over the phone by entering the amount you want to pay using your touchtone phone. To set up Telebanking, contact your bank. Please remember to provide your TrustPower Energy Number (Your Energy Number is printed in orange on the left side of your power bill).

Automatic Payments
Automatic payments can easily be set up with your bank to make payments weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Then when your power bill arrives each month it will show each of your payments made and any balance owing or credit amount. Simply download and print off this form, complete all sections marked with an X and lodge it with your bank.

NZPost
A number of our customers like the convenience of paying at a PostShop. Please be aware that TrustPower pays a processing fee for each payment made at a PostShop. If you take your power bill or PowerCard with you when you make payment a fee of $1.20 (exc GST) will be charged to your power bill.

Cheque
If you prefer to pay by cheque, you'll find a freepost envelope included with each of your power bills.
