Most of TrustPower’s residential customers have joined our Friends Extra program which gives them extra discounts for membership.
Friends Extra customers were also the first to be offered Kinect, our new telecommunications service which provides discounted phone and internet services exclusively to TrustPower electricity customers.
Kinect is now providing close to 26,000 telecommunications services around New Zealand, with customer service provided from both our Tauranga and Oamaru service centres.
Among the first to join up were Ron and Hazel Abbott.
“We joined Kinect in the early stages” says Ron. “Kinect’s people from down the line in Oamaru gave me excellent help when I was setting up my internet. They were great and I could understand what they said. With the last crowd I was with, the people I dealt with were foreigners and I couldn’t understand what they were saying.
I’ve told my friends about Kinect and they’ve joined too.”
Kinect is now available to TrustPower residential customers throughout New Zealand. TrustPower Kinect customers get a 10% discount off standard toll rates and a monthly discount off internet charges for having their power, phone and tolls with TrustPower Kinect.
